| DESCRIPTION | The 2nd Annual DAV Ride for the Troops will be held June 3, 2007, at the American Legion Post 225 located at 592 South Street in Wrentham, MA. A rain date is set for June 10. Sign up starts at 9:30am and the ride leaves at 11am. There will be a memorial service at Capron Park with full color guard, 21 gun salute, and taps. There will also be a pig roast, chicken BBQ, and salads. Live music will be performed by Slow Burn, a mini chopper will be raffled, and there will be a 50/50 also. A donation of $20 per person is asked. All proceeds will go to help disabled veterans returning from war. | |
