Volunteer firefighters are special people, as they sacrifice their own
time to help others in need. They use personal time to take classes and
undergo training required to become and remain a firefighter. They leave
family gatherings, get up in the middle of the night, and go out in
hazardous weather to fight fires, rescue accident victims, and search for
lost and missing persons. Volunteer firefighters put themselves in harms
way each time they answer a call, and they do it all because they care
about the people in their communities.
Please come out and help us show our volunteer firefighters that the
communities they help are willing to help them in their time of need.
