DESCRIPTION		All motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome to attend the Women on Wheels (WOW) Ride for Survival. The Minnesota Chapters of Women on Wheels are hosting their 5th annual Ride for Survival in support of Day One™ Services, a statewide program of Cornerstone. The event will include a 100+ mile check-point ride through scenic roads of Minnesota , lunch, entertainment and prizes. “Day One™ Services is an ideal partner for Women on Wheels. When we help Day One™ we are helping victims of domestic violence throughout the whole state of Minnesota , including the victims living in small towns.  We are giving them a chance at a peaceful life,” said Cathy Meyers, Chair of Women on Wheels. Shakopee , Minnesota . Registration is located at Cities Edge, 1301 Greenwood Court in Shakopee. Saturday, August 23, 2008- Registration begins at 9:00 am and ends at 10:30 am . Riders will begin at Cities Edge, Shakopee (citiesedge.com) and end at Hitching Post, 103 N. Concord Exchange, South St. Paul , Minnesota (hponline.com). Food, program and entertainment beginning at noon , prize drawings to start at 3pm . All proceeds from the Ride for Survival will go directly to Day One™ Services.
