The Black Label Motocycle club will be sponsoring a Charity Poker Run for
Garrett Jones. Garrett Jones is a ten year old boy who was diagnosed with
an inoperable brain tumor in 2004. Garrett is the son of Monica Jones, who
is a Greenbrier county 9-1-1 dispatcher and Brian Baker, who is a
Greenbrier County Deputy.
Garrett's treatments have ceased since diagnosis, however his family must
still travel out of state for scheduled MRI scans and check-ups. With the
rising fuel costs and expensive medical bills, a financial burden has been
placed on the family.
The event will start at Bill Lewis motors, located on Rt219 in Lewisburg
WV, and end at Jim's Drive In, located on Rt60 in Lewisburg WV. The route
will travel South on RT219 to RT60 in Lewisburg, then East on RT60 to RT92
in White Sulphur Springs, then North on RT92 to RT39, then West on RT39 to
RT219 in Marlinton, then South on RT219 back to Lewisburg, then West on
RT60 to Jim's Drive In in Lewisburg.
The Entry fee for this event is $15.00. Prizes for best and worst hand
along with numerous door prizes will be given. All money raised will go to
the Garrett Jones family.
