| DESCRIPTION | The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, MD, will be holding memorial services from October 4 till October 7. All are invited to attend, especially past and present firefighters and EMTs who ride a motorcycle. During this time, on Saturday the 6th, the 9th Annual Red Helmets Ride will be held. It will leave from the parking lot of the Costco located at Market Street and Walser Drive off Route 70, exit 54 in Frederick, MD. It will leave at 11am and travel with a police escort to the memorial in Emmitsburg. There will then be a brief ceremony of speeches and wreath laying. The ride will be held rain or shine. | |
