In Oct 2007 the Monster made a 1 hour appearance on Main St in Daytona during Biketoberfest and had to prematurely retire to a nearby hotel to relieve the crowd control issues that
occurred when literally hundred pushed and shoved to get near the Monster for photo opportunities. As he made a hasty retreat, the Monster said, " I guess we need more security at these big events."
After this one short public appearance in Daytona, the Monster appeared reportedly, in over 142 newspapers internationally as the AP put the monster in newspapers from the China Post,
Taipei, to many of the New York Times family of newspapers around the world.
