Tap Out....Uncle...We Give....Time Out....Kings X...I promise to never again ask for more of this ridiculous cable TV called American Chopper. This night of live Hard Rock, Vegas entertainment with its warehouse look, flames, smoke machines, and diamond plate turn tables made it a perfect storm of more Orange County nonsense. More make believe "Motorcycle Mania" prolonging a slow death of a Motorcycle Show that refuses to go away.
It was all so predictable. Jr. and his Good Guys team ( "born again" ) defeat the dysfunctional, cursing, abusive, past addict, Paul Sr. Add just a little Motorcycle builder credibility (Jesse James ) and his 14 year old "bad ass" antics and pinch of tabloid notoriety and wow what an opportunity for more "WWF flames, and fog machines.
If we add in Las Vegas' Hard Rock, a little rock music and another spike haired tattooed edgy host and maybe just maybe we'll make this ugly "pig fly" one more time.
The real deal in our opinion is Paul Jr. probably really didn't get what he thought was his share ($$$$) and was always pissed that Dad got the big house and most of the money. Vinnie left because he also felt slighted by the "pay clerk" and somehow thought he'd be able to cash in on his own company and TV deal if he left the show ( it never happened ). Mikey thought his comedy was worth far more than anyone else and his drunken antics around the country at many events really didn't fly in the real biker world. He is basically a drunken fool, an embarrassment. Nobody wanted to hire him without his cast of supporting characters.
The fact is "the act" needed all of the players to work and without the Orange County "Ring Master's", (Paul Sr.), glue, it all fell apart. Vinnie struggled, Mike went to re-hab, Jr. struggled without Discovery and Paul Sr. needed goofy players to fill out his player roster of "Larry, Curley, and Moe.
Discovery and its staff of smart Capitalists came to the rescue and basically said. "Hey you nit wits" ...without the full cast of characters, none of this works and we're all looking for another lucky break, "income opportunity" or welding fence for the rich folks in Rock Tavern. (does not exsist)
A few lawyers, contracts, and lots of dollars later, everyone came to the table with a compromise that kept this "Dead Horse" alive for another season.
The problem the Motorcycle Monster has, is this story is played out and we believe we have seen everything the Teutels have to offer. Sr and Jr should enjoy their past T-Shirt sales for as long as it lasts. This "one trick pony" is old news. They should do the "bike show circuit" and get their "show up" fees and fade into the past as other "washed up" TV stars ultimately do. Hopefully, they had enough sense to hang on to some of those millions they received.
As for Jesse, it's over...Sandra kept him in the news and in the Enquirer and Kat kept him on TV "way past" his relevance, but his adolescent act is tired and with nothing new. His bikes are just as "in the past" and he needs to retire to Austin and get a real job or find another "lady meal ticket".
Again, I hope these guys had enough sense to realize that this "lucky ride" would not last forever for a group of dysfunctional "morons".
