PAST EVENT - 2010 Al Gunter Memorial Ride

Al Gunter was a Paramedic with Aiken County EMS and Williston Rescue Squad for many years and touched many lives throughout the CSRA. Al was tragically killed in a motor vehicle crash on February 6, 2007 while on his way to a shift with Aiken Rescue Squad. Al left behind two children, Emily and Tracy, and a wife that loved him very much. Al not only touched the lives of his patients but he also instructed many of the EMT’s that are currently working to provide care to the citizens of the CSRA.

After Al’s passing a memorial motorcycle ride was established by Brian Cameron, a former coworker and friend, to assist his children with their college expenses. All monies collected go directly to the children for the sole purpose of college expenses. Since then it has become an annual event and has grown in size every year.
