|DESCRIPTION||Join thousands of bikers in the largest ABATE Toy Run in Florida bring happiness to children during the holidays.
This event benefits the children at the Shriners Children's Burn Center all year long and also goes to children in our community through the South Brevard Sharing Center, Cocoa Police Department, and the Brevard County Housing Authority.
The parade starts at Merritt Square Mall with kickstands up at 12 pm sharp. This police escorted parade winds its way from the Mall to the Wickham Park Pavillion on Wickham Road in Melbourne. At the end of the parade, once you unload your toys or make a $10 contribution, join in the festivities as we spread holiday cheer with sounds of the Big Daddy band, visit the vendor village, get in on the 50/50 drawing and free hot dogs and beer while it lasts (compliments of the Shriners)!
All are welcome so even if you don't ride you can still come! Admission is a new unwrapped toy or $10 donation. For more information or if you would like to volunteer to help, contact Brevard ABATE Chapter coordinator Theresa Clifton at (321) 452-9792.
