PAST EVENT - BEST Ride

The Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to present the 7th Annual B.E.S.T. Ride to benefit the Women Helping Women Program. The benefit ride is scheduled for August 28, 2010, beginning at Hancock Regional Hospital 801 N. State St., in Greenfield and running through scenic northern Indiana.

The B.E.S.T. Ride provides generous support to the Women Helping Women program which provides screening mammograms to qualified uninsured and under insured patients. The acronym stands for Breast Education, Screening and Treatment. In 2009, Women Helping Women served 193 patients. Financial support provided to WHW exceeded $62,000 in 2009. As with many programs the need keeps growing, costs continue to increase and funding is an ongoing challenge.
