PAST EVENT - Benefit Ride for Loreen Wickens

In September Loreen was diagnosed with cancer. Loreen is a representative for Thunder Roads magazine and is often found in the area covering motorcycle events. She is originally from the Charlotte area and now resides in Lake Odessa. Loreen does not have any health insurance. She will be undergoing her treatments at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She is currently scheduled to do a 3 month treatment course, receiving Chemotherapy every week.

On October 24, Daryl Brodbeck will begin the benefit ride at Corner Landing (Corner of Grand River and M-66) at 11:00 am. Vehicles of all kinds are welcome!

• 11:30 am: Bikers depart from Corner Landing Restaurant
• 12:15 pm: Bikers arrive at C B’s bar, 200 State St, Charlotte, MI 48813
• 1:30 pm: Bikers depart from CB’s bar
• 2:00 pm: Bikers arrive at Maple Leaf Inn, (298 W. Main, Vermontville, MI 49096
• 2:30 pm: Biker games will begin
• 3:00 – 4:00 pm: Benefit Lunch-Donate and eat
• 4:15 pm: Benefit Auction
• After benefit auction concludes: 50/50 drawing.
• Karaoke

Bikers will have the chance to purchase 50/50 tickets at each stop. Tickets will be 2/$1 or 12/$5
Halloween is Loreen’s favorite holiday, so we will be doing a Halloween theme. Dress up a week early!
