DESCRIPTION	Law Enforcement / Fire Charity Event This is to announce the 2nd Annual Contra Costa County Law Enforcement Memorial Event and to invite you and yours to the event on Saturday September 19, 2009. This event is open to the entire community and is a 100% non-profit. All of the proceeds will go to the non-profit organizations that take care of the families of police officers and firefights who have lost their lives in the line of duty right here in Contra Costa County. Believe it or not there have been 23 Police Officers die in the line of duty right here in Contra Costa County. The event starts at the Walnut Creek Elks Club with a memorial ceremony and a motorcycle poker run throughout the county ending at Buchanan Park in Pittsburg. At the park the New Mecca will be catering lunch, there will be vendors, raffle prizes and music. We will also be raffling off a brand new 2009 Harley Davidson Road King Classic and yet another raffle will be for $1,000.00 cash. RAIDERETTES & HOOTERS GIRLS TOO! We are still looking for donations, sponsors and select vendors.
