| DESCRIPTION | Hookin' Up Heroes is a Military / Veterans Appreciation Event. The event includes a 70 mile, 7 stop poker run along the Muskegon River watershed. The ride takes in hydro-electric dams, country roads, parks, American Legion Posts and a VFW Post! There will be a simultaneous Pro/Am Bass Tournament with The Bass Federation of Michigan. The Pro/Am tournament will include 40 Pros teaming with 40 Veterans and Military persons forming two-man (or woman) teams. Proceeds from the Poker Run/Charity Ride will support the Brain Injury Assoc. of MI-Veterans Programs, the MI Paralyzed Veterans of America and this event.
