PAST EVENT - Jennifer Poker Run and Burger Throwdown

BENEFIT FOR JENNIFER’S BURGER THROWDOWN
RULES:

Entry fee $40.00 per team. 4 people per team/extra members will need to pay additional $5.00 - You are to cook a burger any kind of way. Beef, pork, deer or mixed this is your preference. You need to prepare enough for 4 judges. And 35 additional burgers to sell to the public. You are to bring your on own grill, cooking utensils, ingredients and water.

You are to prepare your burgers on the grounds, not before. Each team will be allowed to sell their burgers to the public after the plates are picked up for the judging after 11:30.

Tickets will be sold at a ticket booth for a price of $2.00. At the end of the day you will turn in the tickets you retrieved from the sale. Set up time will be at 8:00 am. Ice chest will be allowed for beer.  No glass containers will be allowed. No one under 21 years of age will be allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages.  ID’s will be checked. Your dish will be judged on appearance, seasoning and overall taste. Number of judging will be determined by the order entry forms are received.

BENEFIT FOR JENNIFER POKER RUN - ORGANIZED RIDE
Registration is at 8:00 – 9:00 am at the Delcambre Shrimp Festival building. Organized ride leaves at 9:15 am.  Last bike in at 2:00 pm. 

The run starts and ends at the festival building. Pre-registration costs:  $15.00 riders/$10.00 passengers.

Deadline for pre-registration
November 4th, 2009.
Day of the ride: $20.00 rider/$15.00 passengers.
After the ride there will be burgers and refreshments will be sold.

1st place poker hand $75.00 & 2 Benefit t-shirts
2nd place poker hand $40.00 & 2 Benefit t-shirts
3rd place poker hand $25.00 & 2 Benefit t-shirts

You may pull one extra card at each stop for a fee of $5.00.
All tally sheets must be turned in by 2:00 pm.
