PAST EVENT - Mark H Riggs Memorial Ride

Mark Hardin Riggs, 45 was called to be with the lord on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Howard County Community Hospital.

Born on July 5, 1964 to Catherine and the late Russell Riggs. Mark attended Montgomery County Public Schools and graduated from Perry High School. In July of 1994 Mark married his high school sweetheart. Mark most recently worked for American Furniture Rentals in Jessup, Maryland.

Mark transformed his life in 1991 and began to live life to the fullest. He valued those he truly befriended and held them dear to his heart. He left a lasting impression wherever he went and touched the lives of those he came in contact with. His love for music and singing kept a smile on his face that would light up a whole room.

His Harley Davidson Street Glide was his pride and joy. Many days were enjoyed with friends on long rides through the mountains with views of beautiful landscapes and sunsets. Mark was most proud of his trip to Sturgis, South Dakota which was a "Harley" tradition. He also treasured rides alone where he could reflect and absorb the beauty of life. He valued every moment and took nothing for granted.

Mark is survived by his wife Barbara, mother Catherine, four children: Kendra, Tanisha, Donnell and Ty; one sister Joanna; one brother Donald, and many more family and friends

This is our opportunity to ride to raise funds for the children of Mark Riggs while celebrating life!
