PAST EVENT - Race for the Ace Charity Ride

(Lexington, KY) On Saturday, October 10, motorcycle enthusiasts will have a chance to get involved in helping the community while ruling the roads during the Cricket Wireless “Race for the Ace Charity Ride” Motorcycle Rally and Poker Run to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Bluegrass.

This charitable motorcycle rally will include a “Poker Run.” Motorcyclists will register at the S. Broadway Cricket Wireless store in Lexington and then make 5 different stops on their scenic “Poker Run” route through Fayette and surrounding counties. At each stop, every rider will select one playing card and at the end of the rally the cyclist with the best “hand” will win a $200 jackpot (the worst “hand” will win $50.) All registered riders will be invited to stay and enjoy a cook-out at the Cricket Wireless store on S. Broadway the end of the rally.

Cricket employees have embraced the opportunity to open their hearts to do something for a cause they feel so strongly about.”

To get in on all the fun, motorcyclists of all skill levels are asked to arrive at the Cricket Wireless store at 1080 South Broadway in Lexington for check-in between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on the day of the event, Registration at the event will be $25 for each motorcycle. Cyclists may also pre-register for $25 before September 30th and receive a free “Race for the Ace” t-shirt by dropping off or mailing their registration form and fee to the Cricket wireless store on 1080 S. Broadway Lexington, KY 40504.

All registration fees are non-refundable. Registration forms are available at all Lexington area Cricket Wireless locations and online at www.rmhclexington.com. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order payable to “Ronald McDonald House.”
