PAST EVENT - Ride to Benefit Madd Delaware

The Georgetown Police Department will be holding the 1st annual “RIDE TO BENEFIT MADD DELAWARE” police escorted motorcycle ride on August 23rd, 2009 at the Harley-Davidson in Seaford, DE. Georgetown PD is proud to be a strong supporter of MADD and their mission to eliminate the crime of drunk driving.

We hope that you feel the same as we do and ask for your support in helping the Delaware Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The donations raised from this Bike Ride will go to MADD Delaware so that they can continue to provide victim support and services, community education, legislative support and outreach programs throughout our great State of Delaware.

Unlike many others, MADD’s cause doesn’t need a cure; it already exists - the cure is awareness and education so that each person in Delaware chooses to drive sober or designate a driver if they drink alcohol. We hope that you recognize the need for this organization; especially in Delaware.

Pre-registration can be done by contacting Detective Story @ 302-856-6613 or e-mailing him at christopher.story@cj.state.de.us. The registration is $25.00 per bike & $5.00 per passenger. This includes the ride, food & drink. There will be entertainment after the ride and lots of raffles and extra events for everyone.
