PAST EVENT - Ride to Remember

Ride to Remember is the inaugural motorcycle ride benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter. A new fundraising event for 2010, the ride will consist of a 40-mile route through Southern Maine, beginning at Big Moose Harley-Davidson in Portland and ending at Wilderness Motorsports in Sanford.

Alzheimer’s disease is a complex, progressive disease that destroys brain cells, leading to memory loss, impaired reasoning or judgment, disorientation, difficulty learning, and decline in abilities.

Over 37,000 people have Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia in Maine alone. More than 147,000 friends and family members provide unpaid care and support for these individuals.
