PAST EVENT - Riding for Mike

On July 18th of this year, shortly after the Thunder on the Mountain Poker Run and BBQ event at Brianhead, Utah, Mike sustained a massive stroke. He spent the next 3-1/2 weeks coping with and overcoming blocked arteries, lung clots, pneumonia and many other complications before beginning a rehabilitation program to learn how to do all over again what many of us take for granted. His long term therapy includes learning how to swallow, talk, walk, developing the use of the right side of his body and the everyday ordeals of overcoming these and other obstacles.

Mike has always been a strong willed, determined achiever. His family and friends are confident that with time he will overcome this huge obstacle as he has always done with others in the past. All proceeds from this event will go to Mike and his family to help with the astronomical financial burdens incurred. Fees: $25.00 Rider/Driver, $10.00 each Passenger. Includes wristband for poker run, ride pin & drink/BBQ ticket. Extra hands $10.00. For BBQ & Party only, $5.00. Blue raffle tickets $1.00 each or six for $5.00. Red raffle tickets for main prize $5.00 each or five for $20.00.
