DESCRIPTION	Union City American Legion Thornhill Ride 409 West Pearl Street Union City, Indiana Charity Poker Run/Bike Rally Saturday July 11, 2009 Poker Run Registration begins @ 10 a.m. 1st bike out @ 12 p.m. Registration Fee $15 per Rider/ $25 with Passenger (Registration fee includes meal and entertainment) Hog Roast Meal Trophies, Awards, 50/50 drawing, and Contests Live Entertainment See Alice Jones Band PUBLIC WELCOME ($5 donation at door) ALL proceeds goes to Sgt. Daniel Thornhill. We are hosting this Poker Run/ Bike Rally to help with home modifications for Daniel upon returning to Ohio. Sgt. Daniel Thornhill is a military policeman assigned to the 173rd Special Troops Battalion (Airborne) in Afghanistan. Sgt. Daniel Thornhill was injured on May 31, 2008 when his vehicle was struck by an (IED) improvised explosive device, resulting in numerous combat injuries.
