PAST EVENT - Veterans Memorial Park Motorcycle Rally and Poker Run

What: 112 mile Motorcycle Rally & Poker Run into the Sierra Nevada foothills. There will be free donuts, coffee, t-shirt & gifts. At end of ride 1 to 4 p.m. the fun begins upstairs inside the casino with awards, raffles and the band Crossroads. Later the band Y&T will perform in the casino showroom.

When: August 15, 2009 Registration 7 to 9 a.m. Ride begins at 8:30 a.m. Event ends at 4 p.m. The casino will continue the fun into the night.

Where: Feather Falls Casino and Hotel, at 3 Alverta Drive, Oroville, CA 95965 call (530) 533-3885 for reservations.

Who: Oroville Veteran's Memorial Park Committee, a 501 3c non-profit, started in the year 2000.

Why: To raise funds to complete a beautiful two acre park with marble walls & statues beside the Feather River to honor Veteran's and those who served. Marble tile samples & architect will be images available to see.

Cost: Poker Run: driver $25, passenger $15, hotel $89, extra poker hands can be purchased

Cash Prizes: high hand $500, low hand $300
