Rev up and ride in the fight to prevent child abuse! Due to a rainout, the 12th Annual Ride for the Child has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008. All vehicles are invited to take part in this annual poker run to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Pickens County. Registration is from 10 – 12 PM at BI-LO on Hwy. 123 in Easley, South Carolina. The cost is $25 per vehicle and includes one poker hand. Extra hands are $10. CASH prizes will be awarded! The scenic route is about 100 miles through upstate South Carolina and ends at Upstate Fairgrounds where there will be music, food, and lots of fun! Help keep kids safe!
