"Homes for Holmes" - Holmes County Humane Society's
First Annual Poker Run - All road legal vehicles welcome!
To benefit our Shelter and Foster Food Programs.
80 miles of scenic Holmes County. Dinner included
(ALL organic, locally grown or locally produced food -
Stuffed Cabbage, Vegetable Lasagna, Chicken Breast,
homemade breads, cheeses, and desserts - gotta taste it to
believe it!!!)at end of ride. Bring a 4x6 or 5x7 picture of
your pet and receive $1.00 off entry fee. Actually BRING your pet
and receive $3.00 off entry fee. Single $15.00; Double
$25.00 (BOTH get hands to play) Starting at Whispering
Hills Campgrounds First out at 10:30 am Last out at 12:30 pm
Finish at Glenmont Park Last in at 4:30 pm. Best Hand,
Worst Hand, Largest Pet, Smallest Pet, Most Unusual
Pet Prizes. Door Prizes, Silent Auction - Just a whole
lot of stuff!!! Come for this, our FIRST event, - and
plan on returning every year!
