PAST EVENT - Iron Run

Leaving at 8:30 sharp From The American Legion Palm Post 184, to ride to RMC,leaving RMC at 10:00, 100 Miles each way to have motorcycle procession bring back to post 184 an actual piece of steel from the WORLD TRADE CENTER!
A run to pay our repects to the 2996 Americans that lost their lives on 9/11/01 .LETS ROLL AND SHOW THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET.Escorted by NYFD Fire truck backto our Legion.
$20 per rider,$15 per passenger,Ride co...st includes ,Band ,food ,beverages,and commemorative patch, Cars welcome to bring up the rear,$15 per person (+$5 patch)
Note Please bring 4 quarters for tolls back into PA at route 78,Helmets must be worn we ride thru NJ *STATE POLICE ESCORT*

Here is the route info times and agenda....Leaving our Legion at 8:30 am and riding to RMC. Kickstands up at 10 am heading towards rt. 222. 222 to 78 east. Fuel stop at mile marker 7 in New Jersey. We have 3 gas stations that we are already coordinated to take over for 1 hour with 14 pumps. 1 hour for splash and go and then it is 1 hr. ride to meet the steel at the Liberty- Marriot Courtyard in Newark Nj. A little over an hour there to bless the steel and the riders and then we head back up 78 west to same fuel stop. We will get off 78 at the Quakertown exit and take 309 south to rt. 663. we will turn right and have local Police and Fire companies block the rest of the way back.There will be 2 firetrucks with there ladders up and a flag suspended from there ladders at the intersection of Routes 29 and 663. That is where we take a right down Main street for the parade thru town and back to our Legion by 5:30 - 6 pm. Festivities will go on until 11 pm. Everyone from the public is welcome to attend the after party for $15 children under 12 are free.
