The WBCA Jalapeño Festival Sponsored by Stripes will be celebrating its 34th anniversary, on Friday, February 17th and Saturday, Feb. 18th – featuring the sizzling Jalapeño Bike Rally and Bike Run Friday at the El Metro Park and Ride, 1819 E. Hillside Rd. Laredo, TX 78041.

Leading the Bike Rally Ride are two surprise celebrities, cast members from the FX hit series “Sons of Anarchy” -- Alex “Tig” Trager (Kim Coates) and Marcus Alvarez “Mayan Leader” (Emilio Rivera) -- who are scheduled to appear.
Tickets for Friday are $5 pre-sale and $10 at the gate. On Saturday, tickets are $10 pre-sale and $15 at the gate.

Friday will also feature our main event of the night, the Jalapeño Bike Rally and Ride! Slap on the leather and rev up your motorcycle engines to test your eye-bike coordination and compete in the Motorcycle required-- Bite the Weenie contest; or, think you’ve got skills? – Then test your concentration and your restraint by competing in the Slow Bike contest – slowest bike (without your feet touching the ground) wins! Adding some spice to the night is the first ever Jalapeño Biker Babe contest, sure to rile up the crowd. Visit www.jalapenofest.org for more details. Also, challenge your friends to a fierce game of Tug of War Friday, visit a varied selection of food and novelty booths, or simply enjoy the dynamic musical line-up because there is Something for Everyone at this spicy favorite.

Revving up the entertainment during Friday night’s Bike Rally is Austin’s premier Southern Rock band Ma Ferguson stealing the show; Bike enthusiasts can also rock out to local fan favorites Quinn and Wildroot as they heat up the Friday night stage and rock the night away.
The event is from 6 p.m. to Midnight amd tickets are $10 at the gate and $5 pre-sale.
