PAST EVENT - James Jensen Memorial Run - 11th Annual

An annual motorcycle trek that takes bikers from eastside Indianapolis through Brown County, the Hoosier National Forest, and back north to Greenwood.   Registration for the 11th annual run begins at 9 am at First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 East 25th Street, just east of 25th Street and Post Road.  Free homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee and juice will be provided during registration.  The ride begins at 10 am and ends around 5 pm.  The finish line is Greenwood's Southland Community Church, which will provide a free dinner to all riders at the run's conclusion.  All makes and models of motorcycles are welcome, as are all levels of riders, beginners to veterans.  The run will take riders from Indianapolis' far-eastside south into Nashville, Indiana for a lunch break at the Artists' Colony Inn (riders should bring money for lunch).  After lunch the run will circle the Hoosier National Forest, stopping for a break on the shore of Monroe Reservoir.  Riders then head north to Greenwood in anticipation of that free dinner at Southland Community Church.

Benefits the James Jensen Memorial Scholarship Program, established by Mr. Jensen's son, Larry, a southside Indianapolis resident.  The program provides education for seminary students at the Theological Seminary in Quito, Ecuador
