PAST EVENT - Lydias Memorial Scholarship Ride

This is a scholarship ride to support law enforcement.

Our agency had a very special person pass away in August of 2009. This is a ride in her name but proceeds will be to provide a scholarship to an explorer. She was an advocate and a supporter of the young people who participate in the Brighton Police Department Explorer Post. The Explorer Post here at the Brighton Police Department has won many awards and trophies in competitions. We have been lucky to mentor some excellent candidates who will go into a criminal justice career. Motorcycling was passion for Lydia. It is in her honor that we will look forward to coordinating a motorcycle ride to raise funds towards a scholarship to assist an individual in his / her education.
This is a fundraiser to promote the higher education of future law enforcement students.
