PAST EVENT - Ozarks Teen Challenge Motorcycle Ride

Ozarks Teen Challenge will host its second annual motorcycle ride on Saturday, September 25 to benefit the 15-month residential program for boys ages 11 to 17 struggling with addictions and other life-controlling issues.

The 70-mile ride will begin at Cruisin’ 66 Cycles on Glenstone in Springfield and will end at the Ozarks Teen Challenge campus in Branson West via Scenic Highway 125. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. and the ride begins at 10:00 a.m. The event will feature live music and giveaways from several area businesses. Registration is $15 per person and will include Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee at registration, a lunch of beef brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and a commemorative t-shirt.

A ministry of Teen Challenge International, Ozarks Teen Challenge opened its doors in the Fall of 2008 with two students. Since then, the program has grown to an average enrollment of 18. In 2010, the center began an expansion project which, when completed, will increase its capacity from 22 to approximately 40 students. Proceeds from the motorcycle ride will go towards the Ozarks Teen Challenge expansion project and acquisition of the campus’ neighboring property.
