PAST EVENT - Poker Run For Zaleigh

Zaleigh is a normal, rowdy six year old with an awesome sense of humor. She loves motorcycles, My Little Pony, Barbies and lobster. What's not normal is that Zaleigh was diagnosed in Feb 2010 with a Pontine Glioma. It's an inoperable tumor in her brain stem. Due to the nature of the tumor it is considered Stage 4 Brain Cancer. She was admitted into the hospital, had surgery to put in a porta-cath and began 6 weeks of chemo and radiation therapy. She does 5 days of chemo therapy every 28 days. Every other month she has MRI's done to evaluate the progress. As of May the tumor had shown shrinkage. Unfortunately as of the latest MRI results (7-29) we have learned that the tumor is beginning to grow again. The Dr's have increased the dose of her chemo as of July to more than double the original dose. A POKER RUN has been scheduled for Saturday, September 18th beginning at 11am at Charlie's in Smithville. Last bike out by noon and last bike in by 6pm. $10 per person or $15 per couple. Stops include The Bull Pen, The Old Frontier, Ronnie's One Oak (formerly Lone Oak), Patricia's Honky Tonk, Big Daddy's Roadhouse(formerly Trav's), Huebels and will end back at Charlie's. BBQ sandwiches will also be sold
