Debbie Walters Foreman is a 53 year old wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter and Friend of many! Debbie is in a race against time, she is in need of a Liver Transplant and, despite having Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance the procedure is NOT covered! Due to Hepatitis C she has developed Cirrhosis of the Liver and her liver is failing. Debbie is in pain as her liver has enlarged. Debbie has two grown children, Tracey and Travis and two Grandchildren James Michael 10 and Anna-Grace 1 1/2 that she would love to be able to watch grow up, graduate from college and get married. But, with out this procedure these memorable moments will not be possible. Debbie has had regular doctors’ visits to know her status and was told in May 2010 that with out a liver transplant she will die. On July 7th, after scheduling an appointment at UAB to plan the process of getting on the donors list Tracey was notified in horror her Mom was not covered for this procedure. If you have ever watched the movie John Q that is about how it has played out. Her family has begun selling items to raise money as well as organized fundraisers and we need your help. A Liver transplant cost approximately $534,000.00. We must raise a minimum of $100,000.00 to start the process with the transplant doctor for Debbie to be placed on the donors list. 100% of the money raised will go to provide for medical expenses. If the clock beats us, money will be donated for unpaid medical and Hepatitis C research. Please help her and her family raise the money needed to SAVE HER LIFE!
How Might you know her? Previous owner of Cross the River, Rode motorcycles with Michael Walters (AKA Snake) who she has two kids with Tracey Grissom & Travis Walters, Alabama Debbie from the Dew Drop Inn in Las Vegas and she is currently married to Danny “GENE” Foreman.
