It’s always a special day at Bob’s when we focus on Women Riders. Our past women’s events have been lively celebrations of the special camaraderie women riders share. This season’s event promises more of the same. We welcome two returning guests, Denise Maple and Nancy Oswald, and two first time presenters at Bob’s, Tiffany Coates and Elsie Smith. All our guest speakers will share valuable information, opportunities, and inspiration, each in her own way.

WE know that YOU know other women who ride (or who are curious about it). So spread the word! Why? Because friends don't let friends miss the fun in store at Bob’s!

British motorcyclist Tiffany Coates is a BMW enthusiast who’s listed in the Guinness World Book of Records as the world's furthest travelled solo woman biker. Even her very first journey turned into an epic. The nine month trip she had planned was ambitious enough, but how it then stretched into two and a half years, crossing four continents, is truly testimony to how seriously Tiffany was bitten by the bike travel bug!

Since that first journey Tiffany has visited many more countries and covered over a hundred thousand miles. Nancy OswaldNancy Oswald thinks the longer the ride the better. She's a decorated veteran of the famous Iron Butt trans-continental contest, as well as many other mile-eating journeys. One of the things she's had to learn the hard way is that being able to repair a flat tire by the side of the road can be crucial to a successful trip. Using the “Stop-n-Go” tire plugging system, she’ll demonstrate just how easy you can resolve an annoying situation on your own rather than ending up as a “damsel in distress” by the roadside. Her informative and popular presentation, now expanded to be more interactive, is one that no rider should miss.

VaVAVroomVaVaVroom is a women’s motorcycle apparel company making fashionable, functional motorcycle gear for female riders of all sizes. When its founder Denise Maple got serious about motorcycling she became frustrated by the lack of appropriate clothing options for women riders.
